Jamborees

Kingstonian participation in both Canadian and World Jamborees was not limited to those of 1947 and 1955. While the Jamborees represented by these items are less well-known than the Jamborees of Peace and that of New Horizons, the various national and international events show continued activity in a larger community!

Canadian Jamborees

Saying a Canadian Jamboree has a smaller scale than a World Jamboree is technically true, but doesn't mean much. Canada's massive size means that the national jamborees gain a lot of participants attending camps which, over the years, have spanned thousands of kilometres.
